The house
As a self-catering house, you'll find everything you need for a perfect stay.
The designer kitchen is well equipped: a fridge-freezer, an electric cooking range, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, dishwasher and a microwave.
The house is an ideal place to relax and offers a television, internet access, a music player and plenty of books to browse. Or just gaze out of the upstairs picture window at the sea and mountains.
The house has 4 bedrooms and can comfortably sleep 10. In the upstairs main bedroom, you will find a king bed and spacious en-suite.
Downstairs there are a further three bedrooms, one with a king bed and two rooms each with twin beds and a family bathroom. There is additional sleeping space in the upstairs living room, comprising of a double sofa bed.
There are 3 bathrooms.
The main bed bathroom is an en-suite, with toilet and sink, a bath and a walk-in shower.
The family bathroom has a toilet and sink and a bath with a shower over it.
The third bathroom has a toilet and sink.
The surrounds
Sòlas looks onto Loch Ewe, a sea loch thriving with bird, marine and boat life, which can all be viewed from the private deck and garden.
The house is set within a croft which is home to two beautiful horses. A brief stroll up the track and along the road brings you to the intriguing shoreline of Loch Ewe, where paths meander through a mix of stones, fascinating shells, and pockets of white sand.
Out and about
The area offers a variety of activities to suit every interest. You can explore the picturesque beaches, where you can walk along the shore, rent canoes for a peaceful paddle, or simply relax and take in the stunning views. For those who love nature, there are plenty of opportunities to spot local wildlife, from birds to seals. If you're in the mood for a stroll, there are numerous walking trails through the scenic landscape or nature filled Laide woods. The nearby town of Poolewe is home to the beautiful Inverewe gardens and if you're looking for a cozy spot to relax head to the nearby town of Gairloch to enjoy a coffee at one of its cafes.
The beaches
A short drive from Sòlas you will fine many beautiful beaches, whether the sun is shining on the turquoise sea and white sands or a moody sky hangs over the stunning backdrop of mountains, they are sure to capture your heart.
